“I applaud the continued success of Chief Marketing Officer Katharine Laidlaw and her staff in promoting our academic programs and student performances,” Bierman said. “I’m extremely proud of our Marketing and Communications team’s efforts to heighten our profile and highlight our mission.”

More than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools submitted 2,250 entries to the Higher Education Marketing Report competition. Fewer than one third of the institutions received gold awards. UNCSA received gold awards for a series of full-page ads in Our State magazine, a recruitment brochure, a series of billboard advertisements, and the annual Performance Calendar.  The school won a silver award for its recruitment advertising campaign, and a bronze award for an advertising series in Dance Media magazines, which include Dance Magazine and Pointe Magazine.

CASE awarded UNCSA an Award of Excellence in graphic design for the Performance Calendar and a Special Merit Award for institutional advertising.

“Our investment in advertising and marketing collateral helps us not only to recruit the best students, faculty and staff, but also to expand our base of support,” Bierman said. “We love to tell our story and are honored by this prestigious recognition.”
