Emma Fagin

Emma Fagin is a theatre artist and third-year Kenan Excellence Scholar in the School of Drama. She expects to receive a B.F.A. in Acting in May of 2025. She feels strongly that storytelling is an essential fabric of humanity, and strives to bring this fabric to the communities who need it most.

Emma is an alumnus of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, where she studied in both the Musical Theatre and Drama departments. Emma fell in love
with performance when she started dance lessons at age two at CDSD The Dancer’s Studio, where she went on to compete from ages 5 to 15, and also assisted in teaching tap classes. Emma started her theatre career at age 12 as Rebecca Gibbs in Thornton Wilder’s Our Town at Le Petit Theatre, the oldest
theater in New Orleans, and has been working professionally around the city ever since.

Emma is extremely passionate about making arts education accessible for people of all backgrounds and looks forward to finding new and creative ways to do this in the future
