Please note that classes will be held on Saturdays and July 4, 2024 in order to cover all of the curriculum material. There will be a final showing of the students' films on Friday, July 19. All residential students must be moved out of their dormitories by Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m.

Scholarships

UNCSA is proud to offer the Cori Gross Memorial Scholarship to cover the full cost of attendance for one filmmaking student in 2024. Applications are open through May 15 at this link.

Students needing financial assistance are also encouraged to pursue resources in their communities such as Rotary, booster clubs, churches, foundations and businesses.

Additionally, the Anthony Quinn Foundation has a competitive scholarship program for high school students in the arts.

Deadlines and Payment Schedule

Online application opens	January 2024	$50 Non-refundable application fee
Notification	Within 2 weeks of application	Students and parents will be notified by email of acceptance or non-acceptance.
Deposit	Upon acceptance	A non-refundable $200 deposit is required for enrollment. Students who do not pay the deposit will be placed on a waitlist.
Half-payment deadline	April 15	Payments totaling 1/2 of the total due
Registration deadline	May 15	After this date call for availability
Payment in full deadline	May 31	Payment in full due

Please note that fees are subject to change. Please email the Community and Summer Programs office if you wish to set up a monthly payment plan. Payment plans must adhere to the payment deadlines above.

Cancellations

$200 non-refundable deposit due after acceptance: check or credit card. Students who have not paid the deposit will be marked as waitlisted until the deposit is paid.
Student withdrawal by May 1: Refund of half the amount paid
Student withdrawal after May 1: No refunds

In the event a program is canceled by UNCSA, payments will be refunded in full.
