I created my zine to give people new tools of respect. Trigger warnings are as simple
as a ‘please’ or ‘thank you,’ but are disregarded and oftentimes unused. If one respects
their audience, they can show it by warning them of what they will be talking about.
The growth of social media means that, if public, anyone can see any post. The need
for trigger warnings has never been greater. "This Zine is About Trigger Warnings"
educates about when and why everyone should be using trigger or content warnings.
Sharing my own experiences along with the educational aspects will hopefully show
others that they are seen, and that their basic mental health needs are being advocated.
