Pierce Martin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer who has a passion for all things music and education. Pierce graduated from UNCSA in 2023 with an M.F.A. in Film Composition, and began working in Residence Life as a Community Coordinator. He enjoys adventure, and talking music and parkour.
Having been involved in music education for 18 years, and in that time teaching everything from violin, guitar, drum, and flute lessons, to drumline, jazz band, and wind symphony - and having had students as young as 3, to as young as 84 - I have a unique vantage point as an instructor. I approach each teaching opportunity with the goal of identifying how the unique individual learns, and leveraging that to its fullest extent.
