Snapshot: Updated Student Engagement and Support Services

As we prepare to close the fall semester and move toward the 2025 spring semester, we offer a snapshot of the various resources available to all UNCSA student communities.
Telework Requests for 2025 due by Dec. 13

It's time to begin collecting our teleworking data for SHRA, EPS (EHRA Non-Faculty) and Temporary employees who request to telework during the next calendar year. Please submit the form no later than Friday, Dec. 13, 2024.
Office of Human Resources closed Dec. 13

The Office of Human Resources will be closed on Friday, Dec. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow the Human Resources team to participate in an end-of-the-year staff luncheon/retreat.
Winter Break Dining Hours

Winter break is right around the corner! From Saturday, Dec. 14 to Saturday, Jan. 11, Dining Services will have modified hours. Normal hours will resume on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025. Please plan accordingly!
Faculty and Staff Social Dec. 10 at Lot 63

Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Lot 63 in Old Salem for a casual, drop-in get-together before the holidays! All are welcome, and you can purchase a wide assortment of beverages and snacks to suit your definition of "jolly."
Go paperless: Sign up to receive your W-2 tax form electronically!

Tax time will be here before you know it. Employees can easily sign up to receive an electronic copy of their W-2 Wage and Tax Statement form. Consent must be submitted by Jan. 14, 2025.
Students: Did you get a refund?

Please check your campus mailbox for a refund. All refunds not picked up by Dec. 13, 2024, will be mailed to your permanent address on file. Contact the Student Accounts Office at 336-770-1416 or studentaccounts@uncsa.edu with questions.
Volunteers needed for Nutcracker Boutique

This year's Nutcracker Boutique is swiftly approaching and we are still in need of volunteers to make it a success! All proceeds will be directed to the Preparatory Dance Program which serves over 100 children and adults in the Triad community.
'Connecting our Past: The History and Culture of Boston-Thurmond' Exhibit

Through Dec. 13, MUSE W-S is hosting "Connecting our Past: The History and Culture of Boston-Thurmond," an exhibit that features the work of UNCSA faculty member and historian Andrew G. Britt, alumna and 3D artist Sarah Loveland, and UNCSA students.
