UNCSA swept all three top prizes in October's MTNA competition at Meredith College.
First place went to cellist Jewel Kim performing the Bach D Minor Suite and the Elgar Concerto. Jewel advances
to the Southern Division Competition in January at Liberty University in Lynchburg,
Virginia. Bassist John Park was awarded alternate with the Koussevitsky Concerto and Bottesini
Elegy and Tarantella and violinist Emily Lin won Honorable Mention with the Dvorak
Concerto and Bach's D Minor Partita. Congratualtions to our winners, and to all participants!
