The Arts

Winston-Salem has its fair share of homegrown restaurants that meet almost any appetite, whether you’re looking for fine dining, sushi, Mediterranean, seafood, a cup of great coffee or a plate of North Carolina barbecue. 


Outdoor activities

Winston-Salem has many greenways and public parks. The 1.2-mile Strollway runs from Fourth Street in downtown to the Old Salem Visitors Center, near our campus. Salem Lake offers fishing, boating, trails and more. Reynolda Gardens is open during daylight hours year-round, with free admission.
