Christia Thomason named Interim University Librarian
Following the recent departure of Sarah Falls, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Christia Thomason as Interim University Librarian.
Christia has a long record of service at UNCSA and has taken on increasing leadership roles in the library, most recently as Assistant Director and Head of Cataloguing and Metadata Services.
About Christia Thomason
Christia has been at UNCSA for 27 years and has a strong track record of making improvements to help meet the technological and curricular needs of faculty, students and staff through her work in cataloging and digital reserves.
She has served the campus as the Recording Secretary of the Educational Policies Committee, Faculty Council representative and as a representative to the Staff Council. She recently helped to lead the implementation of the library’s new digital resource management product, Alma Digital.
