The Constitution of the United States has survived many crises and tests, including the Civil War. At UNCSA, we celebrate Constitution Day each year around Sept. 17, along with other schools, colleges and universities in the United States.
Miles for Wellness is a virtual, team-based walking initiative by and for the state employees of North Carolina. This fall's challenge begins Monday, Sept. 25, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 19. Recruit or join a team of ten employees and register today!
It's that time of year again! Open enrollment season is here, allowing employees to consider how they're covered for the next plan year. During the enrollment period from Oct. 9-27, employees can start, renew or change their benefits.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month! Join members of the UNCSA Cancer Support in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Virtual Run/Walk to celebrate all UNCSA faculty and staff affected by cancer. If you sign up to participate virtually you can run or walk whenever you like, wherever you like.
VAXON will participate in our Benefits & Wellness Fair on Oct. 25 to administer flu shots in Eisenberg Social Hall from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Also available will be the shingles vaccine for those age 50 and older and a COVID booster for those authorized at the time of the clinic.
Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month is Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. To celebrate, Artists of Color and UNCSA are holding a series of events over the next several weeks, including Noche de Estrellas/Movie Night and UNIDAD/UNITY.
Student Affairs staff will be on hand Tuesday, Sept. 19 on the Hill outside Hanes Student Commons to help students connect with Uwill and other mental health resources. There will be music, activities and treats including Italian ice and popcorn.
