University Librarian candidate presentations April 24 and 29
Please join the Search Committee for presentations from finalists for the position
of University Librarian on April 24 and 29 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Library Auditorium.
Each finalist has been asked to prepare a presentation in response to the following prompt:
What is your vision for the library and learning commons at a performing arts conservatory like UNCSA, broadly, and in the training of emerging artists, specifically? What initiatives would you pursue to fulfill this vision, and what values would you privilege while doing so? Please speak to any relevant examples from your past experience.
We will share a QR code and link to the feedback survey at the end of each presentation.
Please note that it is important to maintain the confidentiality of the candidacies
in this search. Once you know the finalists' identities, please do not reach out to
colleagues or acquaintances to inquire, or share information about them. If you know
of anyone whose opinion will contribute substantially to this effort, feel free to
forward that name directly to the Search Committee.
