Alex Deal is a neuroscientist by training with a research background in the neurochemical effects of alcohol misuse and stress in the adolescent and adult brain.

I believe that by incorporating multiple modalities of material presentation and exploration, students are able to learn through the approach that best resonates with their learning preferences. Using different modalities also allows students to view and consider the material from various perspectives, reinforcing the learned concepts and ideas.
