Nicole Krizo joined the Health Services staff at UNCSA in August 2023 as a full-time athletic trainer and the coordinator of clinical education.  
 
Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from The Ohio State University.  Nicole then attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana to obtain her Master of Science in Kinesiology degree.  While there, she worked as a certified athletic trainer with dancers from the IU Ballet Department as well as musicians and opera singers from the IU Jacob’s School of Music. 
 
Nicole then returned to Ohio State to serve as the athletic trainer for the men's gymnastics team and fencing team. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, and Performing Arts Athletic Trainers’ Society. She is a Graston Technique Provider and certified in dry needling.
