Paige Amicon

Paige Amicon is a dance artist and teacher originally from Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. Amicon currently dances with Ate9 Dance Company in Los Angeles. She graduated from UNCSA under Susan Jaffe with a concentration in contemporary. She also holds a high school degree from UNCSA with a concentration in ballet. At UNCSA, she performed works by Twyla Tharp, José Limón, Trisha Brown, Lucinda Childs, Merce Cunningham and Helen Simoneau.

Since moving to Los Angeles, performance experience includes work by Danielle Agami, Santa Barbara Dance Theatre, Mallory Fabian, Stephanie Zalatel, Merce Cunningham, Sophia Stoller and opera work by Yuval Sharon. In addition to dance performance, Amicon enjoys working in arts education. Amicon has taught and choreographed for students in Philadelphia, Winston Salem and Los Angeles. She currently is the Summer Program Manager for the UNCSA Summer Dance Program.
