Performance Overview

Transport yourself to a world where gods meddle, mortals scheme and nothing remains the same. Classic Greek and Roman myths come alive — packed with violent transformations, fiery love and retribution that spares no one — in Ted Hughes’ translation of Roman poet Ovid’s “Metamorphoses.”

Directed by alumnus Jeremy Skidmore (B.F.A. Drama ’00), this production pulses with energy, imagination and emotion. See ambition, jealousy, and vengeance play out on a stage where choices have enduring consequences and the boundary between human and divine constantly shifts.

Skidmore returns to UNCSA as an alumni director with support from the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts.
