The William R. Kenan, Jr. Fellowships at Lincoln Center Education (LCE) is recruiting for a cohort of 6 Fellows who are graduates of UNCSA’s undergraduate or graduate programs in the Schools of Dance, Drama, and Music. Classes of 2023, 2022, and 2021 will be considered.

Interviews will take place in-person on the UNCSA campus in Winston-Salem, NC. Applicants are encouraged to engage in an experiential workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, 8-9:30 AM in Eisenberg, modelling effective teaching artist practice based in LCEs inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning centered on works of art on the UNCSA campus.
During the fellowship, Fellows will be supported in their transition from a conservatory training program to the NYC professional artistic community, with a focus in three aspects of development: teaching artistry, network building, and artistry. The Fellows will engage in the following activities:
Start Date: July 1, 2023
End Date: January 31, 2024
Vacation and Hiatus Times: 2-weeks off end of August*, 1.5 weeks off Winter Holiday*, all other institutional holidays
Compensation: 35-hour week, $25/hour, 26 weeks. A one-time reimbursement relocation stipend of $1000 will be offered.
*Hiatus weeks are unpaid.
