Due to the pandemic, Lincoln Center Education is assessing whether applications will be accepted for the 2021-22 Kenan Fellowship. Information will be posted here once it is known.
The William R. Kenan, Jr. Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education (formerly Lincoln Center Institute) seeks to provide emerging artists with practical knowledge and experience as artists embarking on a career and as educators in the field of arts and education in New York City. The Fellows' immersion in Lincoln Center Education (LCE) includes the following experiences: working as a member of the team to help implement LCE’s annual Summer Forum, participating as a teaching assistant at Lincoln Center’s annual Arts Audition Boot Camp for middle school students, learning about LCE’s pedagogy through working with mentor teaching artists and creating a sample lesson plan that will be implemented, and presenting artistic work as part of a collaborative effort with other Fellows.
