Performance Overview

The School of Music celebrates the life and enduring legacy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a captivating performance honoring his 270th birthday. This highly anticipated annual event has been a UNCSA tradition for nearly 50 years. Faculty artists and School of Music students will present a breathtaking array of chamber music by the legendary composer. 

The program includes "Fantasia in C minor" for solo piano, selections from the opera "The Marriage of Figaro," and the monumental "Gran Partita," Serenade in B‑flat major for winds, featuring guest clarinetist Campbell MacDonald. Faculty performers will include Jodi Burns, Rachel Messing, Stephanie Patterson, Elizabeth Pacheco Rose, Maria Serkin, Paul Sharpe, and Dmitri Shteinberg, along with guest artist Campbell MacDonald. Student performers will include Blaine Edwards, Ryan Holland, Nicholas Copeland, Ava Bigalke, Analina Uribe, Hayden Abercrombie, Kyle Coleman, and Arturo Dekle.
