Alumni folk band Early Gray performs single "Half Past Eleven" live

The modern folk duo, Early Gray, features UNCSA School of Music alumni Drake Duffer and Owen Dodds. Watch them perform their single "Half Past Eleven," filmed live on Lake Norman, NC. Early Gray has performed in venues such as Lincoln Center’s Clark Studio Theater and Rockwood Music Hall in New York, and the duo’s second album is scheduled for release later in 2022.

Owen Dodds is a classical pianist and composer who has performed as a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall, Czech Center New York, and at The New School’s Tech Forward concert series in 2021. Take a look at his time as an undergraduate student in this behind-the-scenes video from 2016. 

Drake Duffer is a classical guitarist and composer whose work has earned him the Seconda Prattica Pujol Award for arranging. Listen to his solo discography.
