UNCSA alumnus wins Creative Arts Emmy Award
UNCSA School of Filmmaking alumnus Ryan Collins (B.F.A. ’07) won a Creative Arts Emmy Award for outstanding sound editing for a comedy or drama series (one hour) for MGM+ and Prime Video’s “Spider-Noir.” Collins served as a sound designer on the episode “The Man in the Mask.”

The award marks Collins’ second Emmy win. He previously won in 2022 for outstanding sound mixing for a limited or anthology series or movie for his work as a re-recording mixer on HBO’s “The White Lotus.”
Collins received two nominations this year for his work on “Spider-Noir.” In addition to his win for sound editing, he was nominated for outstanding sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (one hour) for his work as a re-recording mixer on the episode “Step Into My Office.”

In addition, other alumni from multiple disciplines contributed to several Emmy Award-winning and nominated productions.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were presented Sept. 5 and 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The 78th Emmy Awards ceremony was held Sept. 14 and broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.
