Performance Overview

Bright, expressive and impossible to ignore — the oboe and bassoon join forces for a performance full of personality. Join faculty artists Rachel Messing, oboe; Stephanie Patterson, bassoon; and Allison Gagnon, piano, for an engaging mix of solos, duos and trios that show off playful and nimble to rich and deeply lyrical. Featuring works by living composers, including Reena Esmail and Amanda Harberg, the program brings fresh energy and a contemporary edge to the stage.
