Alex Ekker is an actor with a unique background that includes being a United States Marine Corps Infantryman. Alex brings a strong sense of discipline and physicality to his work. His training also extends to stunt work, having completed the International Stunt School.
Recent stage roles include The Poet in "An Iliad," Eddie in "The Wild Party" and Stephano in "The Rover." Upcoming performances are in "Cyrano de Bergerac," "Lobby Hero," "Beyond Therapy" and "The Rose Tattoo." Alex is particularly drawn to roles in historical, science fiction, action, and fantasy genres, where he can blend his physical skills with storytelling and examine modern issues through the lens of the past and future. He is particularly passionate to explore this work through film.
Outside of acting, Alex enjoys hiking, weightlifting, boxing, medieval combat, stage combat, stunt fighting, and other various forms of historical weapon arts. He also has a passion for baking, exclusively chocolate chip cookies, no others, and thrives on the challenge of pushing both his physical and creative limits.
