Anna Kmosko

Anna Kmosko is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at UNCSA. Music has always been a major part of her life; notably, she began learning piano at the age of 6, after falling in love with Beethoven’s "Für Elise" and asking her talented mother to teach her how to play.

From there, Anna taught herself other instruments and began composing. During her musical career, she has worked as a piano accompanist, had an original soundtrack featured in a selection for the 2021 Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival, performed in various venues local to her hometown, worked as a piano technician, and created her own independent folk album.

Music’s ability to bring everyone together has always struck a chord with her. She believes it should be accessible to all, and she considers it a lifelong goal and mission to use it to create a sense of community and understanding in the world around her.

Outside of music, Anna enjoys learning about new languages and cultures, taking strenuous hikes, engaging deeply in the lore of science fiction works, and making inconspicuous puns.
