Brooke is a third-year Acting major in the School of Drama. Originally from Miami, Florida, she fell in love with theatre and has been working towards her dreams since she was 6 years old. Brooke came to UNCSA for its dynamic approach in dramatic instruction and the wonderful community on its campus.
What made you decide to come to UNCSA?
Upon visiting the school on a tour, It became very apparent to me that the school has a strong sense of community. Everyone has an appreciation for each other’s art and individuality. I wanted to attend UNCSA because it has a lot of heart and soul and I knew that in this environment, I would be able to thrive and support my peers to the fullest extent.
What’s your favorite thing about UNCSA?
In the spirit of creating a sense of community, UNCSA works hard at fighting for diversity and inclusivity within its student body. It’s a very exciting time to be a student here! I am so proud to attend an institution devoted to telling stories of different backgrounds to educate us as future storytellers, as well as the Winston-Salem community.
