What advice would you give to prospective students?
Some advice that I would give to a prospective student is to truly be yourself. There’s so much talk about what you should be or what success looks like but all you can do is bring all of yourself to whatever room you step into and own that. The places and rooms you are supposed to be in, you will be, because people will see the light, joy and uniqueness that only you can bring.
What brought you to UNCSA?
I was immediately drawn to UNCSA because of the creative freedom it offers. Specifically, within the drama program, there is a curriculum that our teachers follow but you’re able to do so much within that and express yourself however YOU want to. Also, there is so much room for collaboration amongst different art schools and within your own art schools to create the art you want to create.
