Christian Moody is an actor, singer, and storyteller from the small town of Aynor, South Carolina. Growing up where opportunities in the arts were few, Christian held fast to a dream of one day stepping into creative spaces where he could share meaningful stories and ultimately create those opportunities for others.
Now in his fourth year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Christian recently starred as Pharus Jonathan Young in "Choir Boy" by Tarell Alvin McCraney. His other stage credits span both contemporary and classical works, including "Dutchman," "The Wild Party," Shakespeare’s "Julius Caesar" and "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" and "The Trojan Women."
When he’s not on stage, you can find Christian taking long walks with friends, enjoying movie nights, writing songs, diving into science fiction or exploring museums. He’s an avid fan of documentaries, new theatre work, and the occasional spontaneous side quest. Through his career in the arts, Christian seeks to create and inspire stories that help shape a more harmonious world.
