Davis Schmidt is a trumpet player from Clayton, North Carolina. He is currently in his junior year at UNCSA where he studies with Dave Dash. Davis began playing the trumpet in 2018 in seventh grade. Since then he has found a love for performing an array of musical styles including musical theater, jazz, and orchestra. He was a company member of the College Light Opera Company and freelances across North Carolina Outside of music, Davis enjoys running and spending time with his two cats, Hazel and Princess.
