Diana Soto

Diana Soto is a Mexican-American artist born and raised in Charlotte, NC, from performing Selena Q. songs in the living room for her mom to performing on the main stages of UNCSA. She hopes to spread happiness and hope for the little brown boys and girls who dream of being artists. Raised by a single mother, she learned the value of hard work, a good mindset, and a positive attitude from a young age. There’s nothing Diana loves more in this world than connecting with people and learning about new ways to expand her creativity!

Starting her creative journey at NWSA in Charlotte, NC, Diana spent 6th-11th grade as an acting major before completing her senior year at the UNCSA High School Drama Program. Diana has had the privilege of acting in productions such as Therese in "Les Belles Seour" and The Dauphin in "Marie Antoinette." She recently had the honor of playing the only female role and lead as Ginny in "Elliot: A Soldier’s Fugue" in an all-Hispanic mainstage production at UNCSA. Diana has also recently taken up stand-up comedy in her free time and continues to hone that muscle for when she moves to New York.

When she’s not acting, Diana loves sculpting, watching documentaries, and performing concerts for thousands of imaginary people in her shower.
