Fernando Peraza Ruiz was born in El Salvador and began his study of music when he
was 7. Since then, he has found in music a new world of dreams and opportunities.
In 2021, he began his university studies at Columbus State University. He transferred
in 2022 to UNCSA and is looking to develop skills that will make him a great musician
but also a great person. He is studying Bassoon performance with Stephanie Patterson.
He wants to be an example for children who have an unbringing like his and show them
that dreams are achievable.
