Erin Giuliano is a graduate student at UNCSA pursuing a Professional Arts Certificate in Composition.
Erin grew up in Apex, North Carolina. She has a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance, a master's in Composition, and has studied music theory, viola, and trumpet, and voice along the way.
During her undergraduate studies, Erin was a tutor in music theory and ear training, as well as head grader for the school's music theory classes. She has also been a teacher in the UNCSA Composition Summer Intensive for the past two years. This will be her third year with ArtistCorps. Her goal in teaching music to help students engage with the craft on their own terms with freedom, curiosity, and most importantly, fun!
