I'zaah Gray-Jones

I’zaah Gray-Jones (He/Him) is an actor, singer, dancer and choreographer from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The arts have always been a defining force in his life. He began dancing at the age of six after discovering the music of Michael Jackson, which ignited a lifelong passion for movement and expression.

I’zaah approaches every performance with deep dedication and an unwavering love for storytelling, seeing each opportunity as a chance to connect, inspire, and transform. Through his craft, he strives to incite change, nurture curiosity, and cultivate compassion. When he’s not performing, you can often find him drinking a milkshake, watching movies, exploring a thrift store or enjoying a game of pickleball.

Some of I’zaahs recent credits at UNCSA include Mr. Black in “The Wild Party” (dir. Clifford Odle), Casca in “Julius Caesar” (dir. Sara Becker), Henrik Egerman in “A Little Night Music” (dir. John Langs), and De Guiche in “Cyrano de Bergerac” (dir. Avery Glymph.) Additionally, I’zaah just wrapped his first leading role in a UNCSA School of Filmmaking 4th year thesis film entitled “Aphasia”.
