Jenna Salerno is a cellist from North Carolina pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Performance under the guidance of Brooks Whitehouse.
Jenna began playing the cello at age 11 in her school's orchestra program, after spending her childhood fascinated with music. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School in 2025. She was a member of her local high school orchestras, the Wilmington Youth Symphony Orchestra, the North Carolina Eastern Regional Orchestra (2023), and the UNC School of the Arts Symphony, as well as taking part in the Classical Kids Music Education concerts with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra (2024). She has participated in masterclasses with Stephen Framil, Dilshod Narzillaev, and Amit Peled through organizations such as Vivace Prep and Port City Music Festival. Jenna hopes to connect people in her community and beyond through music.
