Katie Gaven is an actor, singer, writer and avid "Survivor" watcher from Los Angeles, California. Her glorious debut as “the fish” in "Pinocchio The Musical" at the age of five, ignited her deep love and passion for theatre.
Katie is a six time published playwright who loves directing and is putting up her original play "00:45:00" at UNCSA in April. She has worked on many student films while at school, which has inspired a new found devotion to on-camera work.
During her Senior year, Katie will be playing The Countess in "A Little Night Music," Charlotte in "Beyond Therapy," Dawn in "Lobby Hero" and Rachael in "Appropriate."
Katie prioritizes being a kind human being and embraces her work with a great joy and a sense of play. Outside of theatre, Katie loves indoor bouldering, winning at cards and forcing her friends to play Monopoly.
Katie is thrilled to be joining the professional artistic world, and can’t wait to start her journey.
