Mack Longley

Mack Longley is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the School of Dance studying Contemporary Dance. She expects to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Dance and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship in May 2024.

Originally from Southington, Connecticut, she began her training at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School Program under Kim Stroud and Alexa Melonopoulos-Fleury.

Throughout her pre-professional career, Mack has been introduced to many styles of dance, the most influential to her, however, being social justice dance. She has a close relationship with Hartford-based dance company Justice Dance Performance Project under the artistic direction of Judy Dworin. She has performed pieces with the company during her high school and college years and has also interned with them in the summer of 2022.

Mack hopes to continue her work in the arts activism field and is excited to be a part of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts ArtistCorps Team!
