The first Collaborative Day of the semester is here
The first Collaborative Day of the year is Friday, Sept. 19, and it’s your chance to pause, reset and connect.
Collaborative Days were created to provide students with time and space to focus on personal projects, connect with other artists, and explore new creative possibilities. There are no classes, rehearsals or academic requirements until 5 p.m. — the day is yours to shape.
Collaborative Days are part of the UNCSA Forward strategic plan, designed to help you Take 5ive! by prioritizing your wellness, fostering creativity, and building connections that make your UNCSA experience even richer.
How you can use the day:
- Collaborate across conservatories: Meet students from other disciplines and see where your art can intersect.
- Work on passion projects: Dedicate time to a personal goal or creative idea.
- Join campus happenings: Check out optional programming and community events as they’re announced.
- Make new connections: Grab coffee, meet someone new and expand your creative circle.
- Pause and recharge: Take care of your mental and physical wellness before diving back into a busy semester.
