In her role as Administrative Support Associate at the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts, E’laina Barron assists with various administrative initiatives, including the research and development of new relationships, supporting the Kenan Institute for the Arts Executive Director, and serving as the liaison to the Board of Advisors.
Prior to her work with the Kenan Institute, E’laina worked in the Division of Finance and Administration at Winston-Salem State University and in film production. As an individual artist, E’laina produces Spoken Word events in and around Winston-Salem, NC.
A graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, E’laina holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a specialty in Media Management. She also has completed graduate-level coursework as a Master of Legal Studies student at Washington University in St. Louis.
