Paid Administrative Leave instructions updated for July
These instructions only apply in these narrow circumstances:
- You have not worked either on-site or remotely (teleworking) sufficient to cover your regular 40 hours per week job or 20 hours per week, if you are a half-time employee.
- High Risk Employees – HR-approval and medical documentation
NC COVID Admin Leave is now available at 33.3% of the hours that you had no work available or that you used the HR-approved Elder Care provision. You will need to select the type leave (sick leave, bonus leave, special leave or accrued comp/vacation leave) to supplement this leave.
NC COVID Admin Leave (paid at 1/3 or in conjunction with Families First Cononavirus Response Act (FFCRA)) benefits should be used for authorized COVID-related absences effective July 1. Do not record any hours in “Other Leave Taken” on July 1 or later.
