Parking policies and procedures on campus will remain the same as the previous year. Decal price did increase. Continue to strictly adhere to existing parking policies and procedures.
College move-in will impact faculty and staff parking in multiple lots across campus on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Alternate parking will be available in Lot B, with limited parking in Lot J.
Employees with non-reserved parking will need to park in areas other than A or B Lots on Thursday, Aug. 15. K Lot, J Lot (Welcome Center), Fitness Center Lot, and N Lot will be open to employees.
Student parking rates are $70 for the year, not $77 as announced July 25. The parking system is being updated for this error and a review will be conducted regarding any refunds needed.
Parking spaces near the Police and Workplace buildings will change to Special Event parking from 6-10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. Call Campus Police if you have difficulty finding an alternative parking space during this time.
The Board of Trustees approved in December a parking permit rate change. The new fees are in effect and beginning this month.
The Cynthia Hiott Memorial Award is an annual award which is open to a member of the police department. Nominees can include a police officer, telecommunications staff and administrative support staff. Nominate by July 3.
UNCSA Campus Police will host A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) Training for faculty and staff on Thursday, May 23, in the Campus Police Training Room.
