On Demand: The Gio Project Recital: Robert Young in Recital

Faculty Artist Series 

School of Music faculty members Robert Young and Polina Khatsko present an evening of music for saxophone and piano in a special concert raising awareness of The Gio Project, an initiative that brings attention to congenital heart defects through music.

All donations from this event will go to Mended Little Hearts of the Triangle, a nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for families and children who have been impacted by a congenital heart defect. This concert and the Gio Project are dedicated to the life of Gianni Young, affectionately known as baby Gio. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, baby Gio passed away in May of 2020 at 8 months old. Robert Young is the father of this young warrior.
