UNCSA dance film premiere explores life, the experiences and people who shape us

“Before We Go,” a contemporary dance piece choreographed by UNCSA alumnus Grady McLeod Bowman (B.F.A. ’05) for the 2022 UNCSA Spring Dance performance, features 31 dance students and explores the lives we lead and the experiences and people who shape us – either artistically or in relationships.

Bowman was praised as "exceptionally versatile" and "on the rise” by “Dance Magazine.” He also received a Helen Hayes Award nomination for best choreography for “Singin' in the Rain” at the Olney Theatre Center.
