Performance Overview

A celebration of animated storytelling, Animapalooza showcases the animator’s art of translating complex ideas and feelings into unique visual and sonic experiences on screen. See recent work from UNCSA students, alumni, faculty and staff, along with select films from a variety of colleagues across the industry. From bold new voices to established artists, the program highlights a variety of techniques — including hand drawn, computer generated, stop motion and claymation.
