Join the UNCSA Police Department for coffee and conversation on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Coffee with a Cop aims to break down barriers between police officers and the people they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers.

The UNCSA Police Department is partnering with Texas Roadhouse in Winston-Salem for a Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event for the Special Olympics. UNCSA Police personnel will be working hard to collect donations and raise awareness of the Special Olympics.

The UNCSA Police Department will host its inaugural UNO Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 17. This event promises an afternoon of competitive fun and camaraderie, with an opportunity to win great prizes! The champion will be the first player to secure 10 wins throughout the event.

As part of their "Drones as a First Responder" program, the Winston-Salem Police Department will be using the Artist Village rooftop as a launch pad for one of several drones they are strategically placing throughout the city to respond to major off-campus incidents.

April 15 marked the start of Telecommunicator Appreciation Week! As this week unfolds, we pause to recognize the remarkable dedication and tireless efforts of telecommunications personnel at UNCSA and beyond.

On April 17-18, the Welcome Center parking lot will be unavailable. Those who typically park at the Welcome Center will be asked to park across the street. Shuttle service to and from campus will be provided.
