Hey y’all! I’m Bridgette Caroline; a singer-songwriter, actress, dancer and choreographer from Austin, Texas. I started performing in kindergarten playing an oompa-loompa in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. After playing a Silly Girl in Beauty and The Beast I fell in love with the stage, just like The Silly Girls fell in love with Gaston. Being able to disappear and create my own world became my bread and butter. Then after watching the 2014 film, “Divergent” and running around my house 100 times pretending to be dauntless, I knew I had to be an actor no matter what capacity it was.
Most recently, I’ve had the privilege of playing Dunyasha in Chekhov's “The Cherry Orchard”, Miss Erikson in Coward’s “Present Laughter”, and Mrs. Segstrom in Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music”. I am over the moon ecstatic to be playing Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe & Tom Kitt’s “Almost Famous” this fall. My greatest love in diving into all of these characters has been finding and learning the nuance in myself to be able to share their stories truthfully.
When I am not creating a world on stage or on camera, I am writing lyrics, melodies, beats, and songs. One of my most important passions is creating music. I wrote my first song in 3rd grade titled, “Under Attack” after getting out in a game of 4 square. Since then I have released a number of singles, 2 EP’s and am currently working on a new wave of sound in my songs, releasing soon. Being a music artist has allowed me to share my story through rhythm while hopefully letting someone else feel seen. It allows me to constantly be in production, in the work, and in creation; which is the ultimate sweet spot in my artistry. Alongside music, I have also thrived in dance ever since Just Dance 4 hit the store shelves. I not only dance hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and fosse but also choreograph it. I have recently choreographed projects such as my Senior Cabaret “A Night at The Cinema”, the dance short film “Girls Need Love”, and for my music videos such as “Your Call”.
