Céilí Jordan Gallagher (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Raised by an Irish dance and theatre company director mother, and a musical director and conductor father, she grew up with the inability to resist harmonizing, blisters, a throat coat tea addiction, and late night naps in the pit during rehearsals.
Growing up around her parents’ work also meant being exposed to stories that wrestled with complicated and mature questions about humanity, which instilled in her a lifelong passion for understanding. Céilí’s bottomless curiosity has followed her into sociology, psychology, government, and her fervor for social change. She brings that hunger to understand the world and the vast intersectionality of the people in it into every creative room, believing that the more she learns about others, the richer everything in life becomes.
Céilí is an artist because she loves people. She is committed to waking up every day with the intention, and the practice, of becoming better at her work and, more importantly, a better human being. Céilí wants to spread joy, inspire kindness, lead with empathy, and never stop wearing her heart on her sleeve. When she’s not performing, you can usually find her at the gym, writing songs at the piano, thrifting, or loving on any and every dog she can find.
