Violinist Dylan Latham graduated from the RNCM in 2024. Originally from Norwich, he started playing aged 3 through the Suzuki method, won a variety of awards and scholarships in Norfolk, and attended the Junior Guildhall programme and the Purcell School.
Dylan has recently won two concerto competitions in the UK and Italy and has been awarded a New York Concert, as well as being a semi-finalist of the 7th Violin competition Sofia Bulgaria.
He has played in the Manchester Camerata, the BBC Scottish, the Halle, the BBC Philharmonic, and he led the feature orchestral performance of the RNCM 50th anniversary celebrations, which won a Culture Award.
Dylan plays regular concerti with orchestras, and is a keen chamber musician, helping to set up and run the Enys Chamber Festival in Cornwall.
He plays on a 2024 Jeremie Legrand violin and was the recipient of the Drapers’ Music Scholarship.
