Ethan is a second-year acting student from the Bay Area in California. He enjoys listening music from folk tunes to house bangers, long drives with friends and windows rolled down, and pissing off film bros with his letterbox reviews.
What brought you to UNCSA?
I was drawn to UNCSA by an interaction with Drama's director of recruitment that separated
our school amongst the other top acting institutions. It became clear to me that it
was a one-of-a-kind program, with very special people, with unique stories, in a beautiful
place. What was especially important to me was a focus on creating work, especially
collaboratively with other kinds of artists. So far, so good.
What is your favorite place to go in Winston and why?
Krankies Coffee is a well loved spot. I could eat those biscuit sandwiches for every
meal. It's one of many places included in Winston's surprisingly large cute coffee
shop scene. I also love to walk through Old Salem, just north of campus, which is
just a beautiful place to reflect in.
