Gabe Kipp is a carpenter, specializing in props and scenic fabrication. He has spent his time at UNCSA learning a diverse set of trades, and believes that staying curious and open-minded is the key to growing your skills. From packing trucks to blacksmithing, he is now proud to consider himself a well-rounded and capable team member.
In between semesters, Gabe has ventured out and put his skills to the test in a prop shop, as a stagehand, a trucker, and as a carpenter on a scene shop floor. He’s enjoyed the diversity of work and is looking forward to his next challenge. Gabe wants to explore opportunities in traveling for work post-graduation, but ultimately hopes to land where he feels most at home: continuing to build bigger and better things in a fabrication shop.
