Gabriela is currently the costume designer for the films “Envoi” and “Little Miss Daisy Lee” in the UNCSA School of Filmmaking premiering in Spring 2026. Once she wraps filming she will join the Wardrobe crew for "The Nutcracker" in the UNCSA School of Dance.
Before joining the Film Team, she has gotten the chance to design two of the Spring Opera Scenes, and the Winter Opera “Die Fledermaus” in the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute. To prepare her for the Winter Opera, she spent time working for UNCSA’s School of Drama, assistant designing for “Lydia” and designing for the comedy “Barbecue.”
Gabriela has learned from these experiences that she loves all genres, and could even see herself expanding out of the world of theater, film and opera. She is passionate about trying new things and working with other creatives to create a beautiful world that a project encompasses.
