Jaala McCall is an aspiring artist from Fort Mill, South Carolina. Jaala has trained extensively in many styles of dance as well as danced competitively in her early training years. Along with dance, Jaala was also involved in other performing art forms such as acting, piano and musical theater.
As her passion for dance grew, she began training at Charlotte Ballet shortly before her professional training took flight at UNCSA. While at UNCSA, she has performed works by José Limón, Jamie Lee Scott, Trisha Brown, Keith Lee, Yoshito Sakuraba and more. Jaala has always been motivated by her passion for social justice and human rights. After graduating, Jaala hopes to continue to be an advocate in the dance world in both her choreography and performance work
