Jolie Cannava is an actor from Miami, Florida who wants to bring light into the world through her art by making audiences feel entertained, seen, inspired, and maybe even a little less alone. She believes this is the real work of an actor. Jolie grew up constantly performing for friends and family and insisted they watch and, of course, give her feedback. She was always comfortable being the center of attention, a trait she credits to growing up as the middle child. She loves deeply, laughs with everything in her, and tries to hold onto every moment. If Jolie’s not acting, you will probably find her at the beach with her family, baking something, or finding any excuse to be in a hot pilates class.
This summer, Jolie shot The God of the Woods, playing “Young Delphine,” coming to Netflix in 2027 and also recently appeared in Dexter: Original Sin as “Donna” on Paramount+. At UNCSA, her recent roles include “Joanna” in Present Laughter, “Rosa” in The Rose Tattoo, and “Helen of Troy” in Troilus and Cressida.
