Joshua Thompson is an actor, singer, and dancer whose love for performance began at an early age and, apparently, with very little concern for whether his kitchen was an appropriate venue. At six years old, Joshua could be found wearing a blanket as a cape and singing “Let It Go” from Frozen. What began as childhood imagination quickly became a lifelong love of storytelling, performance, and making people feel something.
Joshua’s journey as a performer was further ignited through his experience placing
as a Finalist at the Jimmy Awards, opening the door to a deeper pursuit of musical
theatre and the performing arts. Since then, he has continued to develop as a multidisciplinary
artist, exploring the relationship between acting, music, movement, and the wonderfully
strange experience of being human. He is drawn to work that is honest, imaginative,
and unafraid to let people be
complicated and themselves.
When he isn’t acting, singing, or dancing, Joshua can usually be found doing something that somehow involves fashion and modeling. As he begins his professional career, he has his sights set on television, film, and Broadway. He hopes to work with artists who lead with honesty, and a willingness to be their most authentic selves.
